Coach Kara Koolage spent the 2017 season as an assistant coach at Florida Southern College. She helped lead the team to finish as the 2017 NCAA National Runner-up. She worked primarily with the draw control team, as Florida Southern finished the season leading the country in the number of draw controls won (392). 


Coach Koolage joined Florida Southern after spending three years as an assistant coach at her alma mater, Salisbury University, where she helped lead the Sea Gulls to an overall record of 55-8 and an NCAA Division III National Championship in 2014.

As a player at Salisbury, Koolage helped lead her alma mater to a pair of NCAA Division III Championships (2010, 2013) and four-straight Capital Athletic Conference titles. The Sea Gulls finished as the national runner-up in 2012 and advanced to the NCAA Division III quarterfinals in 2011. Koolage finished her career with an overall record of 84-5. 

Kacy Koolage- Graduated from Salisbury University in 2018.  She was a 3 year starter and 2 year captain. She helped lead Salisbury to 3 Conference Championships as well as, 3 NCAA tournament appearances. Kacy was the primary draw control specialist for Salisbury University during her time there. She was also a 2x All Conference player. Kacy spent the last season serving as an Assistant Coach at Salisbury University under Coach Jim Nestor. She helped lead the Sea Gulls to the NCAA Semi finals.
